Best Underscrubs for Nurse

This is the underscrub our nurse programs reorder most: a long-sleeve base layer cut close enough to disappear under a scrub top, in fifteen colors that cover every house color rule we have been asked to match. It is built for the reality of clinical work — cold wards at night, warm wards by day, and a garment that has to feel like nothing by hour ten of a shift.

Design and Fit

The top is cut as a true base layer: a close body that layers without bulk at the shoulder or cuff, sleeves that stay at the wrist instead of creeping into the work area, and a hem long enough to stay tucked through bending and lifting. The neckline sits flat under a V-neck scrub top. Stretch in the knit does the rest — the garment moves with the wearer and recovers its shape in the wash, which is what separates an underscrub from a fashion long-sleeve tee cut to look similar.

Colors and Sizes

Fifteen colors are offered: granite green, light apricot pink, light grey, light mint green, lilac grey, ocean blue, pinkish orange, chestnut red, clay brown, crocus purple, bright yellow, white, melange grey, black and a natural green tone — a palette built to sit under scrub colors without clashing, and to give programs a matching option for every department shade. Sizes run XS to 3XL.

Fabric

The style is knitted in the underscrub range's stretch fabric system — the same four-line fabric family detailed on the underscrubs category page, spanning viscose, rayon, regenerated-fiber and nylon knits from 160 to 280 GSM. Your program can standardize on the weight that suits your climate: heavier knits for cold environments and night shifts, lighter knits where the underscrub is worn year-round. Our fabric comparison explains how the four lines differ in warmth, drape and care.

Ordering

Underscrubs are a repeat-purchase line, and the ordering is built for that rhythm: minimums are confirmed at quotation, size ratios are mixed freely, and reorders are produced to the specification agreed at sampling. Bulk follows the group's standard lead times — trial orders in 14 days, small orders in 21 days, bulk in 35 days from the China lines — with every shipment AQL-inspected before dispatch by land, sea, air or express.

Rotation and Care

Underscrubs are washed after every wear, so programs issue them in rotation — three to four tops per wearer covers a standard laundry rhythm with a spare in hand. The knit is specified for that cycle: a stretch knit made for repeated laundering. Order replacements in the same style, color and size as the original issue to keep the rotation uniform.

Questions Buyers Ask

Can I mix colors and sizes inside one order?

Yes. Colors and sizes can be mixed in the ratio your program issues; the minimum for this style is confirmed at quotation.

Is this the same size as your scrub and coat sizing?

This style runs XS-3XL. Size runs differ by garment, so check the run of each item in your program on its product page.

Can the underscrub carry our logo?

Logo customization is available on this line; minimums are confirmed at quotation.

See the other four styles on the underscrubs page, and complete the kit with scrub caps and compression socks.
